International Seminar on Geographical Indications

Event that will inform and educate the public on the benefits, advantages and challenges of this model of protection. We will have the participation of major international organizations in the field of the geographical Indications. In addition, public policy makers, intellectual property experts and conformity assessment agencies from around the world will participate sharing their knowledge and expertise with the public.

This Seminar will expose to other production chains around the world and the general public the benefits and accomplishments that can be obtained through this model of protection.  This model has propelled in a very important way the development in regions that are favored by having quality products that are linked to their geographical origin.
